In AAPI Allyship, we celebrate the diverse continent of Asia, the Pacific Islands, and their people not only in the month of May, but in every other month. From personal essays about the empowering but often troubling AAPI experience, to broader analyses about the stigmas Asian/Pacific Islander Americans face, to intricate poems and art pieces, this issue showcases not only the diversity of the Asian continent and Pacific Islands, but the diversity of the AAPI experience — in prejudice faced, culture, and an ultimate celebration of their identities. Regardless of your identity, this issue will give you a much more nuanced perspective on what it means to be an Asian American or Pacific Islander.
